Highway Beautification Study - America the Beautiful Collection

Inspired by the seasonal wildflowers of the Texas Hill Country and the environmental work of Lady Bird Johnson, this study reflects the color and movement of bluebonnets growing along open roadsides and fields. Influenced by the legacy of the Highway Beautification Act, the collection draws attention to the restoration of native landscapes and the idea that beauty and preservation can exist within everyday places. Lapis, amazonite, and iolite create a palette that feels soft, expansive, and rooted in the natural rhythms of the land.
